Repack Associate - Warehouse

JOB SUMMARY: The Repack Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of repack work to ensure it is completed on time and in a safe manner.

Performance Objectives include:

  • Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned repack work in a timely manner.
  • Communication interdepartmentally to ensure smooth operations.
  • Observes all safety requirements and maintains awareness of surrounding environment to ensure safe operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Follow facility-specific guidelines.   • Identifies any problems with master case products to ensure repack cases are meeting quality standards.
  • Accurately uses of all WMS (warehouse management system) equipment and processes related to the repack window.
  • Understands par levels for all repack items and ensures formula compliance.
  • Ensures accurate slotting or staging of all finished products.
  • Reviews received items for quality and product expiration dates, notifies supervisor of any discrepancies. Seeks clarification and advice from supervisor when unsure of product condition or quality.
  • Examines and inspects stock for defects, reporting any master case damage to supervisors and follows all handling and reporting procedures for allergens.
  • Monitors cooler and product temperatures to ensure they are correct, immediately notifies supervisor of any discrepancies.
  • Handles products with proper care to prevent damage and waste.
  • Operate RF Scanners properly.
  • Uses, cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with company sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Participates in maintaining a safe work environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations is preferred
  • Ability to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
  • Ability to read manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures
  • Have or learn to maintain a valid forklift/pallet jack license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
